Frankly, I find it hard to believe that this is the conversation people are having now. The cost of Iraq has been spiraling out of control ever since the CPA lost track of the $8 billion in $100 bills stuffed onto pallets and shrink wrapped. It has been straight down the sand dune since then. We could have paid Iraq's GDP for 10 years. Iraqis could have all gone on a decade's long vacation and had plenty of time to go to the polls and play politics. Who cares about the Dept of Homeland Security. We should have a Dept of Efficient and Effective Bribing.
