Reaganomics then demolished the American dream culminating (one can hope) in the utter disaster that is the George W. Bush corporate administration.

I blame Reagan and everyone who ever voted for the schlub. It has taken 30 years but Reagan has thoroughly destroyed the US of A financially, morally and economically. We are mired in $8T in debt, a massive trade deficit, a massive fiscal deficit, a war without end, outsourcing and an increasing lack of competitiveness. We are, however, becoming morbidly obese as a nation.

Yep. Reaganomics....a true sickness.

re. mareketeers.

MAREK stands for the musical escapades by singer/songwriter, electronic musician and DJ Christoph Marek. Torn between the ecstatic glamour of pop and the obscure sound aesthetics of lonesome travelling troubadours, between the acid revolution and the lyrical cosmos of early 20th century bohemia Marek finds his way and produces a unique musical blend, a new genre some might say. Oscillating between the hedonistic madness and the social overflow of endless disco nights and a hermit like existence in the solitude of the digital woods Marek is the archetypical representation of the visionary artist in the lonely crowd. His musical journey is an exhausting search for the existential aims of man: love, truth and the satisfaction of the primary human drives.
At the end of 2004 Marek released his official debut album "It's these magic moments that I'm living for" on the Viennese label Niesom, an outstanding album which represents a unique combination of dark folk and disco and a renaissance of grand emotions. Unfortunately Niesom closed down at the end of 2005 and Marek lost his label-home. With the British label SVC-Records Marek has found a new haven, where "It's these magic moments that I'm living for" will be re-released in the near future. Despite the infinite hurdles of modern post-industrial life Marek is on the go and works constantly on new material and sounds which stand for both craziness, lyrical purity and the shattering of obsolete modes of perception. Thanks for those magic moments, Marek!

De Gaulle helped JFK.
Yeah, but DeGaulle was a Communist!

Otherwise, you're right. We may need the French to lead us back to democracy.
