Yes, but it took him over ten years to gain control of the German gov't. And that's relevant because? Converting a country from a democracy to a dictatorship usually isn't done overnite. Freedoms are eroded slowly using an outside enemy as impetus to make it happen. That's exactly what Bush and company have been doing the past 7 years. Bush has been president for over 6 years. If he was, or was likely to produce, "the same sh*t" as Hitler, there would be signs of something Hitler like by now. In fact there would be signs before he was elected, just as there where signs with Hitler, as I pointed out. There have been signs.....wiretapping without the permission of a judge, his signing documents, his suspension of the Geneva conventions, etc. I often wonder why these changes he has instituted don't concern the right...... certainly the right gets hot and heavy over any threat of curtailment to the second amendment.
