All I saw was "NOPE"! WHUT-ev-uh!!! Now... to properly evaluate the litter and choose the optimum fur ball, I will need a small bit of information on each. To wit: lineage papers, photos from all angles, a signed release from their Momma saying it's all right for me to consider adopting one knowing that I will have it declawed and spayed/neutered asap, ten good reasons that I can pass on as to why I should be allowed to have another kitty when dear L is getting her heart set on a pooch (a very small, quiet one at that),and lastly, a commitment that I can return said kitty once I reach the age of senility (I'm not there yet, mind you!) and can no longer change the litter pan. I'm sure you can arrange for these minor requests. After all, I am the BB. <g> I relayed your requests to Dolly (the mama kitty). After she got thru rolling with laughter and wiped her little eye with her delicate paw...she huffed up her chest and told me to get my steno pad out as she "wanted me to take a letter to BB". As she is longer winded than you and I put together; I'll summerize. #1 and most important...it is not YOU who needs to properly evaluate anything. No, it is YOU who needs to be evaluated to make sure you would be an optimum owner. B) to wit...She requests YOUR lineage papers, Photos from all angles (ok, so I tossed that one in...she didn't really need ALL angles <wink>), a signed and notorized letter of reference from at least 1 veternarian speaking to your care of your furry friends and 3 signed notorized personal references (outside the family) who can attest to your worthiness. 3. She also asks that YOU get declawed and neutered so you can properly empathize. d: She says to tell you L will only need 5 reasons to allow one of her precious offspring to grace you with their presence...and those 5 reasons would be the kittens themself. Dolly gave her opinion of "pooches", but none were printable in a public forum except this one: "Pooch? Small AND quiet??? What planet are YOU from???" You already have 1 strike against you for that ludicrous comment; so you might want to get an extra reference to sooth her and better pursuade her. As for "returning kitty"? Nope, it's "till death do you part". :) Now...they were born last Saturday (Cinco de Mayo...making me think they all will need rambling Spanish names), so that means you only have about 5 weeks to get your application sent in. We already have 3 applications and they are only 5 days old. I promise to move your's to the top of the pile if everything is in order. LY2!
