It has been rolled out in Korea and Japan. ARRS has the modem in itself to transceive the 256QAM data.

What they are delaying is the set-top box that cisco does not have yet.

But ipTV boxes may substitute if Wgnr has 256QAM? Or Bob could modify the modem and have connections to TV and SIP telephony or standard pots telephony or mobile phones? Its maybe three month of design away, or six month for production models to roll out in the US.

Verizon Fios set-top box is not perfected yet because of Microsoft and Yahoo media content problems? Same as the confusion about Mpeg4/AVC(constant changing) standard for ipTV? How to handle codec changes as more repeated words are found is the problem of setting a standard today for continued improvement on the fly(during use).
