I'm with you. Blake really had me with him. Melinda bored me to death and Lakisha tried to capture something with Stayin' Alive and totally missed the mark if you ask me.

TO me, Melinda and Lakisha were very night club/Karaoke tonight, and Blake while he needed some polish was really interesting.

I agree and this is probably the only time I've disagreed with the judges. Tonight, Blake was the one who did it for me.

His first song, however, was a little too heavy on the beat box thing. He should have limited it to the chorus and it would have been great.

Now for the song the judges didn't even recognize. This is Where I Came In. Shame on them. Although, Barry did mention that it was a bit of an obscure song, it has been my new favorite ever since it came out. I believe it is the last album they recorded prior to the death of Maurice. Blake did a great job of it, I thought.

Overall, I think the night was a disappointment. I was SO looking forward to tonight (I actually loved the disco era) but the girls really disappointed me and that's a first for me this season.
