Every voter should realize that it's their GOP congressperson enabling this Iraq quagmire. With the numbers in the Senate, as with Nixon, only the GOP can stop a President of their own party. It's time for them to step up and do what's right for America, or suffer the consequences..

It kind of begs the question, exactly what does it take for Republicans to become disillusioned with Bush? I guess his BASE is supremely happy with profits they didn't earn and lack of taxation so they will never abandon their golden goose.

As to 99% of Republicans who are not part of Bush's Base, I think they will require a new brain if what has transpired so far hasn't sent them packing.
