Yes, they did predict a cut a while ago, some time into the
future. Near-term these seem to be pretty reliable. Since
interest rates form a basis for valuation of all derivatives,
the Fed has been in business of managing expectations. I have
not seen the Fed "upset" the Fed funds expectations for a while,
if at any time at all.
