Digging in the garden can also aerosolized all kinds of spores that are in the dirt......she should also wear some kind of a mask that filters particulate matter.............the lungs can be a source of infections and she needs her lungs functioning well.

Her red blood counts will decrease so it's even more important for her lungs to be strong.( oxygen carrying mechanisms are involved ).

Strong and independent is one thing but she does need to be careful.
