While I have no doubt most Iraqis were happy with our action against Saddam, I also know that resentment to our presence there builds over time. That's why crisp goals accomplished in a reasonable time frame were so critical to this mission.

Every week we see evidence that the Iraqis are not capable of or committed to ruling their own country in peace. This vacation issue surely is having an effect on troop morale.
