Do you see the Beijing Olympics as an important event for China to present its achievements or just another routine summer Olympics like Athens?

Do you think the central bank would tighten credit conditions that would produce an implosion that either would not recover before the Olympics or overshadow positive coverage generated by the Olympics?

Somehow, I suspect that the television coverage may result in a moment of clarity where the man on the street recognizes that China is doing more than manufacturing electronics, textiles and cheap toys.
