I'll just add my .02 re: MECA. My wife (then girlfriend) bought MECA I'm guessing 5-6 years ago...a very small impulse purchase. We live in Baltimore and have followed the travails of this company through the local paper, and I followed it, as well, through the financial press.
Never liked the company, or management. Pleaded with her to sell the stock, and she did when the stock bumped a little bit.
Maybe things have changed after a few years. I will say you have peaked my interest, particularly with the Preakness in less than two weeks.

A couple of things. There's been some insider buying in RAS

The Chinese betting on Florida racing will never happen. Offshore betting is already here and is a major drag on domestic companies. Once content is on the internet, it's there to be stolen. My opinion is the MECA's best bet is to restructure and to enhance the tracks to make them a destination location.
