"he doesn't pay U.S. taxes"

Incorrect.

(Where did you hear something THAT crazy????????)

He's an American citizen, and ran big NY hedge funds for years. No doubt his American tax bills run to the millions....

Although... I'd like to refer you to the words of the late US Appeals Court Judge Learned Hand who once wrote: "There is nothing sinister about arranging one's affairs so as to keep taxes as low as possible...nobody owes any duty to pay more than the law demands." LOL!

You don't like the LEGAL LOOPHOLES in our massively over-complex federal tax code then support a politician willing to take the monster on... like Ron Paul. <Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.>

"he has his accounts offshore, he doesn't bring anything into the country..."

Neither does GE or Accenture (& Microsoft has moved IP rights to Holland :-) but, as I pointed out, America is UNIQUE among nations in that it taxes the GLOBAL EARNINGS of it's citizens (regardless of where earned), UNLIKE the 'territorial tax systems' most of the rest of the world uses.
