have you had a colonoscopy? diverticulitis can be bad news if a seed gets stuck in the colon. i have had a few attacks and got through the pain vs going to dr. i am very careful to clean out seeds from tomatoes, pickles, i know a few people who had to go into the hospital to get seeds out and clean up infection.

Oh, jeeeez, don't even say that! I had emergency surgery nearly 5 years ago for diverticulitus of the small intestine. The doc said this was quite rare and prolly caused by a birth defect. But, I sure don't want to go through that again. These cramps are nothing to what I had back then, plus those never let up. In two days I could hardly stand up. Nothing like that now.
