I think it depends who the lefties are. The anarchists are pretty bad, as are the really hardcore eco terrorist types. I find them as bad as mindless patriots. Probably not worse, but they are just as scary.

I wasnt pushing mindless patriotism. Truman got us into korea, and LBJ into vietnam and they werent mindless pats ,nor screaming lefties. Lefties did get bamboozled by stalin and some committed treason. In the 60s along with mainstream anti-war folks, there were crazies as well.
