Why do the politicians follow the press by suggesting that we are in a war in Iraq. It's a large scale security mission. Bush should have never tried to surge in more troops. All it did was offend Congress.

The only question is why are we trying to protect the government in Iraq when we won't lift a finger anywhere else? I totally support our position in Iraq, and would also support smaller troop commitments in Africa. However, we have to make it clear that we are fighting for demestic security.

It just makes me frustrated to see our efforts polluted by useless partisanship. The only thing we need to do to win the war on terrorism is to survive and keep killing the bad guys. It's a catch 22 to win a war of propoganda with suicide specialists. We need more from Cheney, Rove, Bush, and company. Crime is always going to exist in these brutally repressed areas. We need to be there to maintain an expectation for order.
