Well- there's an aspect of it that is a little... Stepfordish, and nasty. The ostracism component of this hurts people who are different- so while I'm not against "family values" it depends a lot on how you define them, and what you call "clean living", and what you do to people who are different. Mormons are very anti-gay, and they would throw out the sons and daughters of their church for expressing their sexuality in that way (they claim to love the sinner, but they'll kick your ass for the sin- whoopeee, such tolerance)- so, imo, there's not much appeal in that. It's a very repressive little world, and some people like that. I don't.
