And in either case you would be referred to as anti-semitic. You can use other adjectives but it doesn't change the meaning of the term.

Yes you are one or you aren't. But you could be a mild one, or one full of raging hatred. And that distinction remains even if "how you react to that" is the same.

Just like you can't be a little bit pregnant, you can't be just a little bit prejudice.
