It's not an easy question. No, it's not. I am so fed up with the miserable job done at the State level to educate kids that I favored NCLB. But's it's down-side is huge transfer of money to Teachers and School bureaucracies. And a lousy job done of testing and publicizing the results. We have the same outswelling coming in Healthcare. So I am torn between fighting the losing battle to keep the Feds out of it, are becoming part of the enabling system for the coming Federal Medical disaster. Gingrich called the Republicans "the tax collectors for the Welfare State." And he was right.
