not sure if it is wishful thinking or not. the company splits up in a couple of weeks. each division will be its own company with its own board and problems. I would expect that there prospects will diverg over time. this is no longer Tyco. Thats why I sold out awhile ago. I have no idea how these three enities will run. I wish you the best of luck though. Your calls should be interesting after the breakup. wonder what they will look like.

Yes.

My quick check of their balance sheet shows some improvement in operating cash flow (20%), but they're up to their old habits. They cut way back on their stock buy back and cut back on their dividends and increases their borrowing. And from what I can see, their margins are decreasing and their operating income is basically flat over the past 2.5 years.

Same old same old.
