The point is that Bush has moved to strengthen the executive branch at the expense of Congress. And that's what Hitler did on his rise to power. Its also what the majority of presidents have done or tried to do. Bush did something. Hitler did the same thing. That doesn't mean they are alike in important ways. You where pants. Hitler wore pants. Are you like Hitler? Hitler centralized power to a far greater extent then Bush could hope for, and almost certainly more than Bush would want if he could make it happen. Also centralizing power, was not what made Hitler stand out as one of the most hated figures in history. If Hitler had centralized power, but didn't start aggressive wars of conquest, or start the Holocaust, he would not have been as major of historical figure, and would not have been a label that people throw around to demonize others.
