yeah, you know I realized that after I posted! ahahha! (Santa Barbara being the name). Rofl. I just looked for the most expensive TOLL had in SoCal.

Well anyway, the point is, TOL builds in certain ranges and I haven't seen too many over 2 million here - ever. We only have one TOL up here now which tops out at 1.6. Of course there are expensive houses in CA for over 2 million, but not Toll developments, and they are in better areas like Palo Alto etc. Same is true for Austin though- Toll isn't building in Tarrytown that I can see.

There is another builder in CA, Shappell who I think builds nicer houses than Toll. He has one at 1.7 which is his highest priced.

I think new homes over 2.1 went away after the fall in 2005.

On another topic, what kind of development are they planning for the austin airport? Thats a desirable area being in town.
