alan - any reason to believe any of the leading candidates support a more activist SEC? the PDT rule was implemented on february, 2001 (for example) but was proposed during the clinton administration. i wasn't knocked out by levitt and although i believe that virtually any candidate of *any* party would be more open and willing to fix things than the current administration, i don't see any leading candidates who might propose that reform.

and i get sick when harvey pitt opens his mouth as a so-called reformer. gag.
