He was elected. Not hired. Millions upon millions of people CHOSE him. Yes, they CHOSE him over a stiff inept appearing Gore and a snob eltist Kerry so the choice was not that difficult for half of the US, but none-the-less, he was chosen, not hired. That is a huge success. Do you think you have anything that could sway millions upon millions of people to believe in you and see things your way? That takes a successful person. You can try & minimize it all you want for whatever reason you want. But winning the position of POTUS is the ultimate goal for untold millions of people in this and other countries. It is a success story to end up in that office. Hired. Sheesh.
