the president in concert with the republican congress does, yes.

The republicans have spent more money in pork and fraud than I had ever thought possible. Its incredible. As somebody on another thread said, we were well prepared for Baby boom retirement in 2000 with a surplus - then Bush blew through that like a crack whore on the way to her pimp. Fiscally, Bush sucks.

I also think Bush was strongarmed into taking Paulson as treasury secretary after his notoriously poor fiscal managment. Paulson is the only intelligent person in the entire Bush cabinet. Bush and republicans stink.

Of course if you think they are doing a good job with the budget feel free to write your check to the bridge to nowhere, the drug lobby and Halliburton.

As a gen-xer I can HARDLY WAIT to be shackled with that medicare drug pork program for granny.

"The president spends all of govt's money?"

Gee whiz, I thought that since the mid 1970's the Administration had lost its ability to impound monies that Congress had authorized. Someone must know things that even the government does not know if they believe what you quoted above.

Quit supporting Bushie crooks. Even the top GOP leaders in congress are starting to abandon Bush-Cheney. They are poison, mainly because everyone is now realizing they are crooks. Much worse than Nixon ever dreamt of being on a nasty night. They make Clinton look the Vicar Of St. Justin.
