I don't believe in a finite pie either! I do believe that the slice sizes are growing for the wealthy and shrinking for the less well off, faster than the pie is expanding.

"the rich are getting richer at the expense of the poor" sounds like finite pie theory to me...

or "the gap between rich and poor is growing"...
