That's the direction we're headed. And we have been on that path most of my life. What today's rightys don't seem to understand is that supporting big (read HUGE) business is anti-capitalist. These guys are monopolistic and are driving entrepreneurs out of the market.

And what a bland, homogenized country we live in...

I heard an interesting study by an economist on the radio. He concluded that it is more profitable over a lifetime now to be a plumber than a doctor. The student loans and amount of education are far lower for the plumber. The plumber never gets sued for malpractice..
