Well, things are rocking along just fine. Family, work, life...... all super. Family doing fine. The boys made it through another semester of college. Yeah!!! Mrs. RR finished the remodeling of the home in Breckenridge but the renovating here at the main homestead is still going and driving me nuts it's taking so long. They started in November and here it is May. They're almost finished. My ole trusty Massey Ferguson tractor bit the dust last fall on the last bush hog run before winter, just like it knew it was its last run. Sad. It hung in there for me. So, I had to go huntin' for another old tractor and just bought a nice John Deere tractor that's bigger than my old Massey and with more horsepower. I've been having a ball playing "Farmer Rick." I can sure do things faster with that extra horsepower. Work.... geez. Going crazy. We are moving to a larger office at our third location due to growth. We added two new attorneys the past 60 days at that location, have another coming on in August in the main office, and will decide tomorrow whether to hire yet another. The market? Well, I took a hit and had to close the May SPX puts for a loss. I'm currently short the SPX with June 1500 puts. Critter report.....well, I came home the other evening, walked in the house and there walking across the kitchen floor in front of me was a big green water turtle about 6-7 inches in diameter. We'd had a big rain and it must have walked up from the creek right into the garage where Mrs. RR found him and took him inside. We eventually took him to the pond and let him go. He'll soon be eating my food that I feed the catfish. (g) So, I come in, see the turtle, pick him up and walk through the house talking to him, and happen to look out the door going to the deck and there's one of the racoons just sitting at the door waiting, letting me know the racoon family was ready to be fed. Around the corner was Mr. Possum waiting as well. I go back the bedroom to change, turn the floodlight on to look out the window where we feed the deer and there's one eating and right along side is a bunny rabbit eating the corn with the deer. Wished I had a picture of that. Then I walked back in the family room with Mrs. RR where the family pets are laying, two big dogs, two cats, a guinea pig and a big floppy eared rabbit. They're spoiled. It was just a funny thought...... CRITTER LAND! We're off to Breckenridge Thursday afternoon late for a long weekend. Looking forward to some casual time with my hero, Mrs. RR. Life in general? What can I say, John. I'm blessed. I don't take anything for granted, but I got the world by the tail. That's the report, Cactus. Hope all is well your way, too! RR
