...and FWIW, CO2 does not stink. this is ridiculous statement. in, that, we might be discussing CO2, but u r confusing the issue. i was hoping that there might be common ground that we could agree that <shit> stinks. of course CO2 is odorless. mexico city or los angelos is NOT odorless. neither would your garage be if u turned your car on and ran it with the door shut...not to mention lethal. At 1500 ppm CO2 becomes dangerous to inhale. Plants can only absorb 2000 PPM under the best conditions. oh yeah CO gas is odorless 2. don't see me huffing that down, not even to get a buzz. Pollution and global warming are two separate (but related) issues. no they are not. if people can't walk around god's green earth and see that it is turning brown because some crap we produced is doing it...then what am i supposed to say that would convince u otherewise!? there are 10 ft PILES of trash on some hawaiian islands... how did it get there? there are Texas sized patches of garbage stagnating in the pacific oceans...did the whales produce it? barrier reefs are dying off...forests are dying off...mass extinctions across the globe. If we severely handicap global economies in the face of "lack of proof" of anthropic cause of GW, you will not have a pot to pi$$ in or a bed to sleep in. nor do i need a mushroom cloud to convince me that terrorism is a threat that should be immediately and aggressively pursued. Even the DoD acknowledges GW is one of THE BIGGEST THREATS to mankind.
