Sailboat racing on the Chez-peak update. Saturday's Georgetowns Mid-distance Race turned out to be a blast. We were dead last rounding the first mark of a 6 leg race. We were fouled at the mark and got stuck in the 'irons' Lead boat was 3/4 of a mile ahead of us. We were bummed and thought we lost. The skipper said "let's not worry we're gonna win this race" We composed ourselves & concentrated. It paid off handsomely. By the 5th leg we caught the lead boat They miscalculated the tide change bigtime while we identified it. We scored a bullet 3 1/2 mins ahead of the 2nd place boat! What a great Saturday on the water. Never Quit. Tim
