On second thought, I agree with you that higher priced WCDMA handsets probably constitute most of the products sold initially. I was also making a distinction, however, between extra features, such as high resolution cameras, video, music players, etc., and the nitty gritty WCDMA performance. Are all WCDMA chips the same in terms of performance, or do some have better performance for data communications than others?
