6 dollar gas would get the poor off the road, but lets face it, should the poor even be allowed to drive ?

Bush tax cuts--well, I think we ought not run huge deficits. Kayyyy. LBJ's didn't work out well either and the reason was similar. The last war that was actually paid for at the time was Korea, I think. Now we just put them on the CC and hope the charge doesn't bounce. But I'd probably axe a lot of stuff that goes to seniors--after all, I am 40. They outvote you just by showing up at the polls. And the pols know it. I really don't get a lot out of all that money that sloshes toward the AARP set. Watch your mouth, sonny, or I'll whack you with my cane! AARP can have my membership dues when they take them and my gun from my cold dead hands. And no, I do not care for any of those names, although it would not surprise me if Gore ends up running. The alternative they give to Bush give is Kerry and they're surprised at the result? HOLY BEJEESUS! They had some decent men in the party who could have won and they didn't run them! Anyway, if there is one candidate I like here in the early early going, it would be Rudy Giuliani Bless you, my son. Hope he gets the nomination. He's not crazy enough for the Neanderthal wing of the party, I think, though. but I have to be honest-- I'm not looking to closely yet, they all seem pretty flaky. Agreed. I think you have to be at least slightly flaky and crazy to be a politician at all, though. Can you imagine trying to keep one half of the nutcases out there happy while not terminally offending the other half? $6 a gallon gas might get some folks off the road, and then I could go faster. We already have an answer for that. It's called "the cops". And it might get me on my bike an extra dozen or so times a month in the summer--which would be good for my fat gut. You can do that anyway. Oh, and I'd like to see more stuff shipped by train and those big semi trucks off the interstate, so expensive diesel would be good. Yeah, and they'd stop burning down our freeways! You seem angry WHACK! Get up now. Told you to be careful of the cane! Whippersnapper's lucky I didn't pull the .45. what is up with that? YOU try talking sense to Queen Elizabeth (I, not, II. I'm pretty sure) about that electric toy and let's see where YOU end up. Are you underfed and underentertained. That should have been a question mark. Don't they teach punctuation anymore? Now shut up and keep working so you can pay my pension! What are you doing goofing off on the web, anyway? Back at it! No American can complain about much of anything we have it so good. You a newbie? Man, you would be absolutely AMAZED at the stuff this bunch finds to complain about! God bless America. They can afford computers to do it on and the Secret Police can't arrest them FOR doing it.
