You have one thing right with both Scotland and Wales, nobody wants to be a silly two-party, single-seat-FPTP system.

Scotland and some of Wales want to, once again, to get rid of the inner city of London, even using and abusing chainsaws and donating free paddles.
Some or most of those costs might be EU subsidized, according to the free markets and free wheeling willing willies.
