CinTel to buy Korean CRM company
Business First of Louisville - 11:17 AM EDT Thursday, May 24, 2007
has agreed to buy Bluecomm Co. Ltd., a customer relationship management firm based in Korea, for $6.5 million.

In particular, Bluecomm focuses on database marketing, call center and telemarketing services for clients such as Pizza Hut Korea, according to a news release.

CinTel (OTCBB: CNCN) is a Louisville technology firm that was founded in 1997 as a provider of Internet traffic-management systems.

It since has expanded into other business sectors through purchasing an ownership stake in Phoenix Asset Management Investment Co. Ltd., a South Korean firm that primarily invests in technology manufacturing businesses, and Phoenix Semiconductor and Telecommunication Suzhou, a Chinese company whose main products are semiconductor packaging, flash memory and liquid crystal display (LCD) assembly.

CinTel said the Bluecomm acquisition will allow it to continue to expand its business portfolio and move into an area that company officials perceive as a high-growth sector of the Korean market.
