If you stop doing what caused it, in my case, drinking red wine, it is over in about a week or two. If you take the medicine the doctors prescribe, and you stop drinking the wine, it is over in about a week or two. <G> I think the prescription was just to keep me from crying so loudly. And the price of it made me cry for a different reason, taking the focus off my toe.

Funny story, but only to those who play stud. I was playing high low this morning and got dealt three crap cards. But, I was hit with the bring-in, which was pretty high by that time in tournament. Any bet would have seen me fold like Manilla. But my opponents kept checking, so, what the hey? I ended up with a pair of sixes, no low. It scooped the pot, which was my bring-in and the antes. That's not the funny part.

One of the other players wrote: "Keep calling with nothing, Donk. Oh, please, keep on making those idiot calls." <G>

My first reaction was to tell him how stupid he was. But, my second reaction held sway and I just let him remain stupid and ignorant.
