I will contact some media and express my indignation to them. Its surprising because I read somewhere that the reasons the umbrella group of security administrators was formed was because Canada securities sold at a discount to US securities because of inferior regulations so it was that that if they would strengthen their regulations to protect investors the discount would lessen.
I think some government officials might be surprised to hear that if the really discourage US investors, their companies will just end up being gobbled up by foreign companies taking advantage of these discounted prices just like khdh is trying to do.

Don't think that is it..

There is not a Canadian Regulating Body.. Every Province has one (hence the Ontario Securities Commission, BC etc.).. They have talked about coming up with one amalgamated body for a long long time but seems no one wants to give grounds.. So before they get as far as thinking about foreign or US investors, they have to get their act together.. I don't see it happening any time soon..
