Teen agers are different, for sure. I have 2 teen aged grand daughters and, try as I may, I never hear from them. The oldest just finished her freshman year in college, the youngest will be a junior in HS. Both are A+ students, but the young one isn't challenged near enough and my daughter is looking into a special school that will let her do her junior and senior year all at the same time, graduating a year ahead of her peers. Not sure how that will work. But, neither bother to drop grandpa a note to say thanks for the money at Christmas, Birthdays, etc. I call and the girls are never home, of course. I just live with it.
