Minor correction to some quotes about diesel -

That should be low speed torque. Diesel engines take a little longer to burn their fuel than gasoline, so they lose more power at higher engine speeds than gasoline engines.

That's why there are add-on hydrogen generators for some diesels, because a little hydrogen accelerates the flam propagation and burning.
