That's Tesla's site. THEY indicate the car will cost $92K. I haven't found a battery replacement price yet. Different numbers have been thrown around. I think "expensive" is what to expect. Lithium batteries are NOT cheap. The whole problem with electric cars has been the cost and weight of storing practical amounts of power. If THAT problem is beaten, they will drive gasoline cars off the road. and none will cheer louder than I. I would LOVE to see this country break its oil dependence and tell the Arabs and MEers to learn to eat sand! That day should be declared a national holiday. THINK of the problems we will finally be free of!
