There was a lot of actually EMPTY land in Uganda and Brazil in 1948 - far more empty land than Israel has now

There were huge amounts of actually EMPTY land in Palestine too - the early Zionists bought wasteland and built towns on it. In the late 19th century when Zionism began, there were no more 400,000 people in what later became Palestine. Today there are over 10 million!

The Arabs came to Palestine in the early 20th century BECAUSE the Zionists were there.

Can you wrap your little brain around that fact? They came for JOBS. Jobs that were in Palestine because the Zionists had come. Those who were already there increased in numbers because the Zionists brought modern medicine to Palestine, so 9 out of 10 babies lived instead of 5 out of 10 - and yes, I'm talking about the Arab babies.

Before the Zionists came, most of population of Palestine were fellahin living in mud huts, straight out of the middle ages. Only a small minority were educated. That was the effendi class. The whole setup was medieval.

If they Zionists hadn't come to Palestine, the region would have just followed the trajectory of the rest of Syria - much slower economic growth, much slower population growth, despotism and failed economies, etc.
