I think a lot of people felt like I did. Its hard to explain. But there is more to talent than just singing voice. Last night Melinda bored me silly. Actually this shocker that Melinda is out is just what Idol needs to get some viewers back. There wasn't a single surprise this season except that Sanjaya lasted so long. Had Melinda or someone been voted off early, that people didn't think should go, that would have created a little more suspense. Like when Chris Daughtry was booted. You really just think Jordin is "pretty good"? Wow, I think she is tremendous, better than Melinda.

With the best singer out of it, the season is over for me. Yep. I'm with you and will not even bother to watch the final episode. I think that none have very original, new or fresh voices, this season has been kind of a been there, done that, but at least Melinda has a great voice and would have definitely not turned into a diva, like so many of the others past and present. She's real and would have remained true to herself. As I said at the beginning of this season, it appears we have run out of talent. Or, we're burned out from so many contests. It's getting old.
