They will realize when it is too late that they should have let you know they too cared.....

one of sensitivities in growing up, too bad when young they are more into self than thinking of others. boys are more lax than girls in at least trying to stay in contact with a phone call or email.

I wish I could tell you that was a new idea. I've tried to send emails but they get ignored. I even purposely put my email address in the birthday card I sent the young one last March. Along with a 50 dollar bill. Not a word. Truth is, this is my daughter's fault for never teaching the girls basic good manners in this regard. I'm afraid it's too late.
