Like your Sony experience, it still pains me eleven years later to think that I spent $1,100 for a Kodak digital camera in 1996, for what amounted to a one-time "command performance" type of photo requirement for an RFP I was responding to via email. I still have it today, and I'm thinking about bronzing it along with an old, black rotary dial telephone set that's tucked away in my garage somewhere.

As for the other player, it's "Babelgum," not babblegum, as I had erroneously spelled it earlier. I've posted about it here several times in the past:

What is Babelgum?
Babelgum ushers in a new era for television, blending the lean-back experience of traditional TV with the interactive and social power of the Internet.
