I almost immediately regretted putting my wife on chemo. Her surgeon told me the day afterward, her stomach was already 80% consumed and she would probably be lucky to live 6 months. In fact, she lived 5. The chemo did make her very sick and now, in thinking about it, chemo never could have saved her life. We were fortunate she never really suffered much pain, although with the extent of the spread, I'll never know why. I'll always be thankful for that.
