Yes, Bush's Treasury Department definitely lies. Read the fine print though and you'll see it's all BS. Like the fact they never count war costs which are humongus and totally unpaid for.

The only deficit they cut in half was an imaginary 550 billion one that was their dishonest projection five years ago. The year before that Clinton gave us a 220 billion surplus. Bush inherited that.

What Bush really wants though is doing away with the estate taxes for ultra rich families like his own. If that got through we'd see trillions in new deficits. But Bush is still by far the biggest defivcit spender in our history. The final tab will be somewhere in the 4-6 trillion area. But you claim he's doing away with the deficit. HA!
