Z has said repeatedly he lives in Albany. That's not NYC. Albany is the capital of NY state. Interestingly enough, the state and its largest city have the same name. They are continguous but physically, NY state is much bigger than NY City. Albany is about a hundred miles north of the City. Should a nuke go off in the City, I don't think the plume would be visible from Albany and I suspect the westerly winds would drive the radiation over Long Island to the Atlantic Ocean, not Albany. However, you might want to try and freak out the Europeans with your scary, nuke stories.
