Just in case anybody still wonders why Israel is the most hated nation in the world BTW I think you greatly underestimate Iran's ability to exact a heavy toll from both Israel and the US if they attack. They may even be able to sink some of the US carriers in the Gulf. It is not for nothing that the US military is VERY reluctant to start such a war.
