UN Resolution 661 authorized use of force against Iraq back in 1990. That use of force was suspended by the cease fire agreement. Saddam subsequently violated the cease fire agreement.

has already proclaimed that Musharraf will help bring democracy to the rest of the Middle East

I'm not answerable for Bush's statements. In any case the fact that Musharraf is no democrat, isn't a reflection on Iraq. Once more you make a totally irrelevant point.

"Baha al-Aaraji, a supporter of radical anti-American cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, told AFP that 144 members of the 275-seat national assembly had signed a draft law that would set a departure timetable for US troops."

Notice "a draft law", and "set a departure time table".

Not "passed a bill, which was subsequently signed in to law by ", and not "get out now".

Thank you for confirming that I was correct when I said "No they haven't"(told the US to get out)
