AMD Fellow Maurice Steinman told Register Hardware the CPU cores are almost transistor-for-transistor the same cores found in the 65nm Turion processors AMD launched earlier this month. Can anybody explain why the old K8 core was used in a product that is released after Barcelona? I thought that Barcelona is more power efficient and faster per clock than K8. Hmm...
