bin Laden and his followers are SUNNIS (not like the Shia of Southern Iraq or Iranians...) and are steeped in Wh'abbist theology, an extreme Sunni fundamentalist school birthed in Saudi Arabia, and SUPPORTED (financially, and in all the public schools, foreign aid programs, with the civil laws, etc., etc.) by the SAUDI MONARCHS.

For *many decades* now.
